West Bengal State University

West Bengal State University is a newly established university situated in Barasat, West Bengal, India. The Vice Chancelor of West Bengal State University is eminent educationist Prof. Asok Ranjan Thakur.

All the 57 colleges in the district of North 24 Parganas, which were formerly affiliated with the University of Calcutta, are affiliated to this university.
