Denaun Porter (born December 7, 1978), known by his stage name Kon Artis or his alter ego Mr. Porter, is an American rapper and record producer, who is best known for being an original member of the Detroit rap group D12, as well as the co-founder of Runyon Ave. record label. Throughout his career he has both produced and performed vocally, producing songs for many notable artists such as Method Man, 50 Cent (produced the song "P.I.M.P."), D12 and Eminem (Including "On Fire" from Recovery) and is also the executive producer of Dr. Dre's new album Detox. Porter was a co-executive producer, with Eminem, for Bad Meets Evil's debut album Hell: The Sequel and The Slim Shady EP by Eminem.. He is Eminem's current hype man after the passing of D12 band member Proof.^[1][2]
