Grosswojwod (great voivod, great duke) is the German version, official under the Habsburg monarchy in the case of the present Serbian autonomous region Vojvodina, of an original Slavonic (more precisely, Serbo-Croatian) title of the comparative semantic model (see Great King), augmenting the far more common Slavonic family of princely titles (including Wojwod) discussed in the "Voivod" article.
