Hardwick Wood is managed as a nature reserve by the Wildlife Trust for Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Northamptonshire and Peterborough. [ [http://www.wildlifebcnp.org/reserves/reserve.php?reserveid=50 Wildlife Trust: Hardwick Wood] ] It lies south-west of the village of Hardwick and east of Highfields in the county of Cambridgeshire and has been designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest.
