Khandar

Khandar is a tahsil (administrative division) of the Sawai Madhopur district, Rajasthan, India.

The languages used are Hindi, Harauti and Dundhani. The main sources of water are a well, a tube well and the Banas River. The main occupation is agriculture.A small sacred place named Rameshwar is 20km away. This sacred place is famous for the junction of three main rivers Chambal, Banas,and seep.About 70% of the current generation is literate.
