Patrick Murphy (born November 28, 1965, in Waterloo, Iowa) is an American softball coach and the current head coach of the Alabama Crimson Tide. He has been an assistant or head coach at Alabama since the program's inception in 1997 and has brought it to national prominence — resulting in frequent top-ten rankings in national polls. He also served as the hitting coach for the Canadian National Team in the 2004 Olympics.
