Transportation and transportation services provided on a common basis for two or more Department of Defense (DOD) agencies and, as authorized, non-DOD agencies. Common-user assets are under the combatant command (command authority) of Commander, United States Transportation Command, excluding Service-organic or theater-assigned transportation assets. See also common use.
