MostFact|date=July 2008 of the World War II strategic targets in the state of Bremen (including those at Wesermünde/Bremerhaven and Farge) were related to the production of u-boats of the German Navy. The targets were bombed by the Royal Air Force and the Eighth Air Force. Bremen also included concentration camps such as Bremen-Farge and Bremen-Vegesack. The city of Bremen was captured in April 1945.
