The dorsal trigeminal tract (dorsal trigeminothalamic tract, or lemniscus) is a tract which receives signals from Meissner's corpuscles and Pacinian corpuscles.[1] It mediates pressure and tactile discrimination sensation. This tract arises from Principal trigeminal nucleus and terminates in the ipsilateral VPM nucleus of the thalamus.
