Alan Elizbarovich Dzagoev (Russian: Алан Елизбарович Дзагоев born June 17, 1990, in Beslan) is a Russian football midfielder of Ossetian ethnicity [http://www.sports.ru/football/5845140.html] who plays for CSKA Moscow and the Russia national football team.

Biography

He was born in Beslan (North Ossetia-Alania, Russia) on July the 17, 1990, to Tariel and Lana [http://sportsdaily.ru/articles/poluzaschitnik-tsska-alan-dzagoev-c-abnado-prislushivatsya-k-starshim-c-bb-21308] . He started playing soccer in the second grade. He and his older brother started playing football by the initiative of their mother, who, as Dzagoev said in 2008, "still can jump the ball 10 times standing on one leg". At school Dzagoev didn't try to hard to study because of his passion to football, but his parents respected his choise of a football career. Club career

Krylia Sovetov-SOK

In 2006-2007 he played for FC Krylia Sovetov-SOK from the Russian Second Division (Ural-Povolzhye zone), for who he played 37 matches and scored 6 goals.

CSKA Moscow

In december 2007 he moved to PFC CSKA Moscow from the Russian Premier League. He started coming out on few occasions as substitute. He was part of the squad that won the Russian Cup 2007-08, played in three games there, one of them being the 1/16 final, where he scored a goal, another one being the 1/8 final, where he scored again, and the final. In the 13 match of the Russian Premier League 2008 he had 3 assists in the 5-1 vicrory over FC Spartak Moscow, and since then he became a steady opening line-up member. Alan Dzagoev was also the man of the match when he scored 2 goals in a 3-1 away victory against UEFA Cup winners Zenit Saint Petersburg in Saint Petersburg.
