Daniel Browne

Daniel Browne (born 16 April 1979 in Auckland, New Zealand) is a rugby union player for Leeds Carnegie in the Guinness Premiership. He joined the club in June 2010 on a 2 year contract. He previously played for Bath for 3 seasons, and Grenoble in France.

Browne is eligible to play for New Zealand (through birth), Ireland (Irish Father) and England (3 year residency).^[1] He declared in August 2010 that his preference would be to play for Ireland.^[2]

Browne's position of choice is as a number eight.
