Rube McCray

Rube McCray was the head coach for the William & Mary Tribe men's basketball team from 1943-1945. Accessed March 24, 2008.] He compiled an overall record of 17-21 (4-7 in the Southern Conference).

McCray also coached the William & Mary football team from 1944-1950 and compiled a 45-22 record. He is second all-time in school history for career football coaching wins behind Jimmye Laycock.
