.nc.tr is the Internet country code second-level domain (ccSLD) for the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC). As the TRNC is not recognised as a sovereign state (except by Turkey) and the Greek Cypriot domain name of .cy is not used in the north, the TRNC's access to the internet is carried on Turkey's first-level domain name of .tr.
