Production

The album was originally to be titled "Sex Education".Fact|date=August 2008 Lloyd stated that he would be writing and producing on this album. Production will also include J Lack, Big Reese and Jasper Cameron, Polow da Don, Eric Hudson, Oak, Baby Boy, and Superkidd.

The first single, "How We Do It (Around My Way)" features rapper Ludacris, and peaked at number #77 on the "Billboard" Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. The second single from the album is "Girls Around the World" and features rapper Lil Wayne. It was officially made available to U.S. radio stations for airplay consideration on May 12, 2008. Reception

"Lessons in Love" received mixed or average reviews from critics. It holds a 60 out of 100 from Metacritic.
