Braunschweig-Stöckheim-Leiferde

Braunschweig-Stöckheim-Leiferde is a rural district in the South of Braunschweig, Germany. The population of 8,139 (2005) live in mostly family-houses.

The district comprises the following municipalities:

* Leiferde
* Friedrichsruh

Landmarks

The cantor and teacher Louis Lueders invented in the peso Leif earth core drilling machine, which made it possible to the beet seeds without the help of the children in the ground.
