School of Communication, Information and Library Studies (Rutgers University)

The School of Communication, Information and Library Studies (more commonly known as SCILS) is one of the 19 schools at the New Brunswick campus of Rutgers University. Created in 1982 as a result of a merge between the Graduate School of Library and Information Science and the School of Communication Studies, SCILS offers 3 undergraduate majors in Communication, Journalism and Media Studies, and Information Technology and Informatics, as well as 2 masters programs in Communication and Information Studies and Library and Information Science and a Ph.D. program in Communication, Information and Library Studies.
