2000 Men's Volleyball Olympic Qualifier

The 2000 FIVB Men's World Olympic Qualification Tournaments consisted out of three tournaments, all played in July, 2000 to determine the last three competing teams for the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, Australia.

Matosinhos, Portugal

The first qualifier was staged in Matosinhos, Portugal from July 21 to July 23, 2000 with one Olympic spot at stake. Competing teams were Argentina, Japan, Venezuela, and hosts Portugal. The teams played a single round robin with six matches in total.
