World Chess Championship 1907

Emanuel Lasker had virtually retired after retaining the Chess World Championship in 1897, but defended against Frank J. Marshall from January 26 to April 6, 1907, in the USA, games being played in New York, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Chicago and Memphis. Lasker won in a total whitewash.

Results

The first player to win eight games would be the World Champion.

Game 15: Marshall blundered with 20. Qd3?, allowing Lasker to take advantage with 20...Bf5 which put him the exchange up.
