Black River (2001 film)

Black River is a 2001 made-for-TV adventure movie about a writer who comes upon the town of Black River, only to find that it won't let him leave. It is based on a short story by Dean Koontz.

ynopsis

A writer called Boyd 'Bo' Aikens (Jay Mohr) enters an ordinary-looking town called Black River, only to find that it has a deep dark secret. After many unsuccessful attempts to leave (all of them foiled by a mysterious entity), and a series of eerie phone-calls, he eventually discovers that a 'supposedly' abandoned project to create an SCU actually succeeded, and now dwells in the clutches of Black River.
