Nicolás Vigneri (born on 6 July 1983 in Montevideo) is a Uruguayan footballer who plays as an attacker for Emelec.

Career

Vigneri began his playing career in 2005 with Peñarol. In 2008 he joined Cruz Azul where he made his Interliga debut against San Luis in a 1-0 defeat. Vigneri scored his first goal in the third match of his team in the 2008 Interliga against Pumas. He scored his second goal in the final of the Torneo Clausura 08 against Santos Laguna. In 2009 he joined Racing Club during the January transfer window. Later the same year, he was transferred to the Spain club Xerez.

On July 21, 2011 he was officially announced by Emelec's official website as its new striker on a loan with an option to buy.
