Avnat

Avnat ( _he. אָבְנַת) is a small Israeli settlement on the western shore of the Dead Sea, about 7 km south of Kalya and 12 km north of Mitzpe Shalem. It belongs to the Megilot Regional Council.

It was founded in mid-2004 where a Nahal settlement previously existed. The religious high school "Yiftach" is located therein, and some of the residents work there.
