Dendra armour

Dendra armour

The Dendra armour or Dendra panoply, is an example of Mycenaean craftsmanship. The armour was found at the site archaeological Dendra, hence the name, in a grave. The grave shaft was dated to the 15th Century B.C.The panoply is the only full example of this style to be found, other parts have been found to similar suits.
