Xiao Jiang (zh-cp|c=小江|p=Xiǎo Jiāng) (born 1972) is the stage name of female Chinese film director Jia Yan,cite web|url=http://www.variety.com/review/VE1117925373.html?categoryid=31&cs=1|title=Electric Shadows| author=Elley, Derek|publisher=Variety|date=2004-10-24|accessdate=2008-01-05] . Jia graduated from the Beijing Film Academy in 1995.cite web|url= http://www.firstrunfeatures.com/presskits/electric_shadows_press_kit/Electric%20Shadows%20PK.pdf |title=Electric Shadows PK.pdf|publisher = First Run Films |accessdate= 2008-01-05] Jia Yan worked primarily in television, directing three tv movies before joining the China Film Group as a screenwriter. In 2004, under the name of Xiao Jiang, she wrote and directed her debut film, "Electric Shadows".
