Among the researchers that have published in Psyche are Nathan Banks, Ralph Vary Chamberlin, Arthur M. Chickering, Horace Donisthorpe, Bert Hölldobler, Robert R. Jackson, Herbert Walter Levi, Vladimir Nabokov, Norman I. Platnick, Embrik Strand, William Morton Wheeler and Edward O. Wilson.

History

Samuel Hubbard Scudder, who later became the first editor of Science, proposed to start an "Organ of the Cambridge Entomological Club" on its fourth meeting. Its first editor was B. P. Mann. The articles concentrated on general anatomy, biological entomology, and to set up a Bibliographic Record of all writings upon entomology published in North America, and about North American entomology.
