"Break the News" is the third studio album by Swedish singer Darin. It was released on November 22 2006 in Sweden, and later re-edited with 2 old hits "Step Up" and "Who's That Girl", leaving out "Saturday Night" and "What If I Kissed You Now" (the latter turned out to be the b-side of the German release of "Desire"), getting an official release on September 28 2007 in Germany.

In Sweden, the album was promoted with two official singles, "Perfect" and "Everything But the Girl". There were plans to release third single "Desire" on CD like all the rest too, but the single developed into becoming a download-single only in May. The German market saw the release of "Insanity" as the album's first single, having "Desire" becoming the second one in December 2007.
