"Horsing Around" is the 180th short subject starring American slapstick comedy team the Three Stooges. The trio made a total of 190 shorts for Columbia Pictures between 1934 and 1959.

Plot

The trio's sister Bertie is a reincarnated horse who is trying to track down her mate, Schnapps. While having lunch, a newscast comes over the radio stating that a local famous circus horse (Schnapps) is about to be destroyed, as he is past his prime. Bertie and the Stooges run to the circus in an effort to save the horse from a certain fate.

Notes

*"Horsing Around" is a sequel to "Hoofs and Goofs". Once again, Harriette Tarler pulls double duty as both the voice of Bertie, and a showgirl at the circus. [Solomon, Jon. (2002) "The Complete Three Stooges: The Official Filmography and Three Stooges Companion", p. 494; Comedy III Productions, Inc., ISBN 0971186804]
*"Horsing Around" features Moe and Larry's more "gentlemanly" haircuts, first suggested by Joe Besser. These had to be used sparingly, however, as most of the shorts with Besser were remakes of earlier films, and new footage had to be matched with old.
