"Homalopoma imperforata" is a minute sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusc in the family Turbinidae.

Distribution

This species is endemic to New Zealand.

Habitat

This top shell is found at depths of between 35 and 55 m.

hell description

The shell is very solid, tall-, very narrowly umbilicated, and with heavy nodulose spiral cords.

Shell coloration is buff with brown patches between the nodes. The only comparable species, "Homalopoma crassicostata", has smooth cords.

The shell height is up to 3 mm, and the width is up to 3.5 mm.
