Alexander Maccabeus

Alexander Maccabeus (63 BCE – 48 BCE) was the eldest son of Aristobulus II (87 BCE – 49 BCE), whom was the son of Alexander Jannaeus. [ [http://www.jewishencyclopedia.com/view.jsp?artid=1122&letter=A Alexander II of Judea] son of Aristobulus II, son of Alexander Jannaeus.] He married his cousin Alexandra Maccabeus (63 BCE – 28 BCE), daughter of his uncle, Hyrcanus II (78 BCE – 30 BCE).
