International Association for Promotion of Christian Higher Education

The International Association for Promotion of Christian Higher Education (IAPCHE) is an international organization of Reformed institutions of higher education. It was founded in 1975.

As of 2005, the worldwide organization consisted of five regional bodies: one each for Africa, Asia/Oceania, Europe, Latin America, and North America:

Africa: Centre for the Promotion of Christian Higher Education in Africa [http://amani.org.au/cpchea]

Asia/Oceania: The Asia/Oceania Region of IAPCHE [http://www.iapche.org/] held its first Leadership Conference in Manila in October 23-26, 2002, University of the Philippines at Los Banos. In the gathering, delegations from Australia/NewZealand; China/HongKong; India; Indonesia; Japan; Korea; and the Phiilippines each presented subregional reports to the assembled delegates. The papers are available online.

Europe: A Regional Conference for Europe took place in Budapest, Hungary in July 5 2002. The host institution was Károli Gáspár Reformed University.

Latin America: Asociación Internacional para la Promoción de Educación Superior Cristiana (AIPESC) [http://www.alcnoticias.org/articulo.asp?artCode=237&lanCode=2] which held its Third Conference at Barranquilla, Colombia hosted by the Corporación Universitaria Reformada (CUR). July 11- 14 July 2002.

North America: The Association of Reformed Institutions of Higher Education (ARIHE) institutions currently include: Calvin College (Grand Rapids, Michigan), Covenant College (Lookout Mountain, Tennessee), Dordt College (Sioux Center, Iowa), Geneva College (Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania), Institute for Christian Studies (Toronto, Ontario), Providence Christian College (Ontario, California), Redeemer University College (Ancaster. Ontaro), King's University College (Edmonton, Alberta) [http://www.kingsuc.ab.ca/] , and Trinity Christian College (Palos Heights, Illinois). Dordt College.
