Delta Formation (Aircraft)

Delta Formation is a formation flying manoeuvre in the shape of a V. It is used by the United States Air Force's Air Demonstration Squadron, the Thunderbirds. It is a famous formation of the Thunderbirds [ [http://www.af.mil/photos/index.asp?galleryID=262&page=5 Air Force Link - Photos ] ] and is usually performed at the end of the show [ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/U.S._Air_Force_Thunderbirds#Image_Gallery ] , when all the six aircraft come together.
