Edwin Yates

Edwin Yates

George Edwin Yates (May 14, 1871July 16, 1959) was an Australian Labor Party representative for the South Australian Division of Adelaide in the Australian House of Representatives. [ [http://www.aph.gov.au/library/handbook/historical/representatives/story.zammit.htm Parliamentary Handbook: Historical Information on the Australian Parliament] ] He was first elected in 1914, and was defeated during the 1919 election. He regained office in 1922 until he was defeated in 1931.
