Manitoba (computer chip)

Manitoba (computer chip)

Manitoba was a system-on-a-chip (SoC) introduced by Intel Corporation in 2003. It was a mostly unsuccessful attempt by Intel to break into the smart phones market. The chip integrated flash memory, a digital signal processor and an XScale processor core.[1] After the chip's failure in the marketplace, the business was sold to Marvell in 2006 for $600 million.
