Ellen Irlene Mandrell (born
January 29 ,1956 ) is an Americanmusician ,actress and model. She is the younger sister of country singersBarbara Mandrell andLouise Mandrell .Mandrell was born in
Corpus Christi, Texas . She first rose to prominence as a model forCover Girl , and later appeared on the top-rated yet short-lived "Barbara Mandrell and the Mandrell Sisters ". She has also appeared on two episodes of "The Love Boat ", and worked as a commercial spokesperson for a wide range of products. They were divorced in 2004. She was previously married to Ric Boyer, whom she divorced in 1992. She and Boyer have two children.
