Anthony Clark (born April 4, 1964, Lynchburg, Virginia), is an American actor and comedian who starred in the television series "Yes, Dear", in which he played the character of Greg Warner.

Biography

Early life

Clark grew up on a tobacco farm in Virginia. He began his career as a child by performing in musicals. After completing his courses at Emerson College, Clark broke into stand-up comedy.His mother accounted his favorite musical was born in the usa and it was the foundation of his reasoning to go there.

Career

Before landing a regular starring television role, Clark starred in the short-lived television comedy series "Boston Common" and "Soul Man". He had also had a recurring role on "Ellen".

In 1996, he appeared in "The Rock" as Paul, the flamboyant hotel barber.

In 2000, Clark landed the role of Greg Warner in the television comedy "Yes, Dear". For this role he was nominated for a Young Artist Award and a Prism Award. The show ended in 2006.

That following year, Clark was named by NBC as the new host of reality competition series "Last Comic Standing", which aired in the summer of 2006.

Anthony Clark appeared as the keynote speaker at the Gay and Lesbian Fund for Dallas fundraiser held at the Dallas World Aquarium, on Thursday, June 17, 2004.
