Team Pacman was a professional wrestling tag team in the Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) promotion. The team, originally consisting of professional American football player Adam "Pacman" Jones and his partner Ron "The Truth" Killings, held the TNA World Tag Team Championship once, but when Jones' team refused him permission to take part in in-ring action Rasheed Lucius "Consequences" Creed was added to substitute for him for its defense.

History

On August 6 2007, Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) confirmed through their website that they had signed a deal with Tennessee Titans cornerback Pacman Jones.cite news |url=http://www.tnawrestling.com/news/fullnews2.php?all=1477 |title=Adam "Pacman" Jones Signs Contract With TNA Wrestling |publisher=TNAwrestling.com |accessdate=2007-08-06] In interviews with TNA Vice President Jeff Jarrett, Jones indicated that he intended to wrestle, primarily as part of a tag team. Jones made his first appearance at Hard Justice later that month, taking part in an interview with Mike Tenay explaining that he chose professional wrestling to prove that he could be "the ultimate team player", and TNA specifically because both he and it were "trend setters." They were interrupted, however, by Ron Killings who proceeded to run down and "threaten" Jones until Jones challenged him to enter the ring and fight, only to be kept separated by (kayfabe) security guards. In later backstage segments Jones was shown laid out and bleeding, then being taken away in an ambulance. Going into Bound for Glory—held in his hometown of Atlanta—TNA announced that Jones purchased 1,500 tickets to the show with the intention of donating them to the Fulton County School District. [cite press release |title=Adam 'Pacman' Jones Buys 1,500 Tickets to TNA Wrestling Event for Atlanta Students |publisher=Total Nonstop Action Wrestling |date=October 3 2007 |url=http://biz.yahoo.com/prnews/071003/clw037.html?.v=101 |accessdate=2007-10-03 ] They also heavily promoted his "in-ring" appearance for the first ever two hour episode of Impact! on October 4, both in television commercials and on their website, but his portion of Team Pacman's match against Team 3D (Brother Ray and Brother Devon) consisted of him mostly avoiding physical contact again—leapfrogging an attempted tackle and catching then throwing a football at Brother Ray, ducking a clothesline, and holding a downed opponents legs for a double team maneuver—before the Voodoo Kin Mafia (B.G. and Kip James) interfered and the match ended in a disqualification. [cite web|url=http://www.onlineworldofwrestling.com/results/tnaimpact/071004.html |title=iMPACT results - October 4, 2007|accessdate=2007-12-18|publisher=Online World of Wrestling ] At Bound for Glory, with Jones not being allowed to wrestle a full match, he was replaced with Rasheed Lucius "Consequences" Creed for the title defense against A.J. Styles and Tomko, while Jones stood outside and watched. During the match Jones attempted to interfere, throwing cash at referee Earl Hebner, distracting him long enough to miss a pin for his team and allowing Styles and Tomko to win the match and take the title. After the loss Jones all but disappeared from from TNA television, with his contract expiring and going un-renewed October 15. [cite web|url= http://www.wrestlezone.com/article.php?articleid=195972822|last=Clark |first=Ryan|title=Adam 'Pacman' Jones & TNA Part Ways|publisher=WrestleZone.com|accessmonthday=November 07|accessyear=2007|date=November 1 2007] Killings also disappeared from television and would later be released at the end of the year. Creed, however, was given a contract with the company, which he was presented with at an NWA Anarchy show.
