Fazlul Quader Chowdhury (also known as A.K.M. Fazlul Quader Chowdhry) was the 5th speaker of the National Assembly of Pakistan, and was from East Pakistan. He belonged to Ayub Khan's Convention Muslim League.He was also the acting President of Pakistan from time to time when Ayub Khan left the country. His elder brother Fazlul Kabir Chowdhury was the leader of the opposition in Pakistan.Quader was Preceded by Maulvi Tamizuddin Khan of Awami League.

He became a Bangladeshi after the secession of East Pakistan, and was jailed in Bangladesh for his war crime as collaborator of Pakistan Army during 1971. He died in the prison in 1973^[1] due to old age.

His elder son Salauddin Quader Chowdhury is now a member of the Bangladeshi Parliament.^[2][3]
