James Flynn (politician)

James T. Flynn (1944—) was a Wisconsin politician. He graduated from Marquette University in 1970 and received a law degree from the same university in 1973. He was elected to the Wisconsin State Senate as a Democrat in 1972, and again in 1976 and 1980. He was elected Lieutenant Governor of Wisconsin in 1982, an office he held from 1983 until 1987; at the same time, he served as the secretary of the Wisconsin Department of Development. After he left office, he retired from politics and took a job as a project development executive with American Medical Buildings.
