George Washington Ryland (1827–1910) was a
Wisconsin politician. He was born inMaryland in 1827, and moved toLancaster, Wisconsin in 1853, where, in 1873, he opened abank ing partnership. He served in theWisconsin State Senate as a Republican from 1880 until 1883. From 1887 until 1891, he held the office ofLieutenant Governor of Wisconsin . After he left office, he retired in Lancaster, where he died in 1910.References
