Harrison is a PATH station on Frank E. Rodgers Boulevard south of the Interstate 280 overpass in Harrison, New Jersey. The simplest station in the PATH system, it opened on November 26, 1911 at the intersection of Rodgers Boulevard and New Jersey Railroad Avenue. When the PATH was realigned to Newark Penn Station in 1937, the station moved slightly south to its current location.

The station has two narrow, open-air side platforms. In between the PATH tracks are three center tracks that are used by NJ Transit and Amtrak.

Until recently, one could take the short ride from Harrison west to Newark for free. However, with the installation of new smart card turnstiles at all PATH stations, passengers must now pay a fare to take the PATH to Newark. Within the next five years, the Port Authority plans to drastically modernize Harrison through a $173 million renovation of the station. Funding for this project arose from the March 2008 toll and fare hike, which will significantly increased the overall spending budget of the corporation. The new station will feature longer platforms for additional cars, wider platforms for an increased amount of standing room, and street-level-to-platform elevators in compliance with ADA regulations, as well as architectural modifications to its appearance.

Harrison station also lies in close proximity to the Red Bull Arena stadium site and will provide convenient public transit access for sports fans when the stadium is completed. It will be also located near the future Northern New Jersey World Trade Center [ [http://www.wtcnewjersey.com/ Northern New Jersey World Trade Center] ] .

The station is served by the Newark-World Trade Center train.
