Mission Statement

The company's mission statement is as follows:

Working Man’s Clothes Productions is a pan-stylistic theater company dedicated to producing excellent, top shelf theater and developing new works and new talent in order to build a community of artists, working, evolving, and making things happen.

Philosophy

Working Man's Clothes "is about putting our nose to the grindstone and producing quality theatre." They believe in combining the theatre arts with the spirit of American entrepreneurship. They try to focus their creative energy on new talent. They do not ascribe to a particular political or social agenda, and instead try to create opportunities for new playwrights, directors, designers, and actors to produce quality theatre. They believe that "theatre can and will survive by combining community support, building reciprocal working relationships with other artists, an unwavering commitment to excellence, and determination."
