The Football Association of Brunei used to enter a team in Malaysian football competitions. The team won the Malaysia Cup in 1999.

History

The Brunei team was formed in 1921 [ [http://www.msl.com.my/history.htm MSL - Malaysia Super League ] ] to participate in the Malaysia Cup.

The team used to play in the 35,000-seat Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah Stadium, Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei.

The Brunei team's nickname was "Tebuan" (which means "Wasps").
