Peter Johannes Gertrudis Winnen (born September 5, 1957 in Ysselsteyn) is a Dutch former road racing cyclist. He was professional from 1980 until 1991. Among his 14 victories were 2 stage triumphs at Alpe d'Huez in the Tour de France and a national championship. Furthermore there was a third place in the final ranking of the Tour de France in 1983.

Doping confession

On the Dutch TV-show "Reporter", Steven Rooks, Maarten Ducrot and Winnen admitted that they had doped in their careers. Peter Winnen, who came third in the Tour de France in 1983 (undoped) talked about his Tour de France in 1986. "I was very bad and had the choice: go back to home or to provide me with testosterone." - Winnen reached Paris.
