The 1992 season was a poor one for the Dodgers as injuries to key players and slumps from others contributed to the franchise's worst season since moving to Los Angeles, finishing last in the Western Division of the National League. The Dodgers lost 99 games this season but had some hope for the future as first baseman Eric Karros won the National League Rookie of the Year award.
