The Institute of Business Management (IoBM) is a business school in Pakistan. IoBM is composed of three premier colleges located in Karachi , the College of Business Management (CBM), the College of Economics and Social Development (CESD), and the College of Computer Science and Information Systems (CCSIS). The university offers degrees at both the Bachelor and Master levels including the MBA program in several disciplines including Marketing, Finance, and Human Resource Management. In August 2007, IoBM started a High School, Creek High School, offering classes from Grade 1 to A-levelsFact|date=April 2008
IoBM started as College of Business Management, which only offered BBA and MBA degrees. Since the inception of CBM, it has grown rapidly. IoBM comprises CBM (College of Business Management), College of Computer and Information sciences, College of Industrial Engineering and College of Economics and Social Sciences. IoBM's degree is recognized all over the globe and students have been encouraged to transfer to universities such as Harvard Business School, The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, Warwick Business School, London Business School, London School of Economics, etc.Fact|date=April 2008
IoBM proudly publishes Pakistan Business Review, which is the only research based magazine published in Pakistan.Fact|date=April 2008IoBM also offers degrees in MBA (Health Management,Industrial Management,Media Management and Advertising and Communication Management)
Although a very well-reputed University, it is often criticized by the students as being too centralized, where you have to cut through levels of red tape,just to get a course approved.
