Ventucopa, California

Ventucopa is an unincorporated town in the Cuyama Valley of Santa Barbara County, California. It lies on State Route 33 near the eastern shore of the Cuyama River, about convert|30|mi|km southeast of Cuyama. It is essentially isolated from the rest of Santa Barbara County; travel to other communities in the county requires crossing through either Ventura County or San Luis Obispo County. The name is a portmanteau of Ventura and Maricopa. The ZIP Code is 93252, and the community is inside area code 805.
