Jacob G. Hornberger

Jacob G. (Bumper) Hornberger (born in Laredo, Texas, USA) is a journalist and the founder and president of the Future of Freedom Foundation, a nonprofit libertarian educational foundation based in Fairfax, Virginia. Hornberger received a B.A. in economics from the Virginia Military Institute and received a law degree from the University of Texas School of Law. In 2002, Hornberger ran for the US Senate as an independent candidate. He received 106,055 votes, or 7.1% of the total vote, and finished third.
