Hædde (or Hedda, Hedde, Haedda, Haeddi) (died 705) was a medieval Bishop of Winchester.

Life

He was supposedly born in Headingley in West Yorkshire, and became a monk of Whitby Abbey. He was bishop of Wessex from 676. He moved the see to Winchester around 690 and died about July 7 705.Powicke "Handbook of British Chronology" p. 257] After his death, he was revered as a saint.
