East-Central Minnesota Pride is the yearly celebration of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) residents of East-Central Minnesota. East Central Mens Circle, the organizing group, held their first Pride event in 2005, and following events were opened up to all members of the LGBT community. In 2007, it sparked controversy when an opposition picnic dubbed a "pro-family picnic" was held across town.
