issues= Saint Landry (Landericus) of Paris (d. ca. 661) was a bishop of Paris and saint. Consecrated bishop of Paris in 650, he built the first major hospital in the city, dedicating it to Saint Christopher, which is now the Hôtel-Dieu. Landry, with twenty-three other bishops, subscribed to the charter Clovis II gave to Saint-Denis Abbey in 653.

Veneration

He was buried at the Abbey of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, where most of his relics are kept (two bones were given to the parish of Saint-Landry in 1408).

A statue of St. Landry stands behind the altar of St. Landry Catholic Church in Opelousas, Louisiana. His feast day is June 10.
