E. G. Coffman

E. G. Coffman

E.G. Coffman is a computer science professor at the Columbia University.

He firstly described the four conditions necessary for a deadlock to exist in 1971.

In 1994 he was inducted as a Fellow of the Association for Computing Machinery.
